FAQs

Here you can find the answers to the questions most frequently asked by our customers. If your question is not answered here, please contact us.

Q: Do you sell grapes?
A: Oh we wish we did! We have dreams of owning the world’s most beautiful vineyard someday, but for the time being we are just selling domains. We promise our domains are just as juicy as your typical grapes though!

Q: What are domains good for?
A: You can only produce premium quality websites with the best selection of domains. The domain is your brand, your identity. Without it, you would have no name in a world dominated by brands. Getting a good domain is the first step to take towards building a successful website. You can’t eat them though. Sad, we know.

Q: What are the payment methods available?
A: At the moment, we are only accepting payments via Paypal. If you wish to use an alternative payment method, please contact us and we’ll do the best we can to accommodate your needs.

Q: What happens after you accept my offer and I pay you?
A: Once we receive your payment, we will ask you for your domain registrar details. If the domain is registered at Godaddy, we will be needing your Godaddy e-mail address and username for the domain push. A domain push basically means that the domain will be taken from our account and placed into yours. We will no longer have ownership of the domain and it will be yours entirely, with your contact details in the whois (http://www.who.is is a website that allows you to check who owns a particular domain). If the domain is registered at Name.com, we will be needing your Account Code only. Different registrars have different procedures for pushing a domain. Creating an account at domain registrars is free. Don’t worry – all details will be provided to you in our e-mails, and we can always explain further when there is something you don’t understand.

Q: What if I want to transfer the domain to another registrar?
A: If you want to transfer the domain to another domain registrar, we would be happy to supply you with the EPP Code (Authorization Code). Please note that your domain registrar will charge you a fee for one year’s renewal and you are responsible for paying those fees. Renewals normally cost less than $10 per year. Some registrars will charge you extra fees for transferring a domain to them from another registrar, but this is rare.

Q: Now that I own the domain, is it mine forever?
A: It’s yours provided you remember to renew the domain every year at your domain registrar (Renewal fees typically cost less than $10 per year, and you can search for coupons to save you some money). If you forget to renew, the domain will be deleted and consequently made available for anyone to purchase. Your domain registrar will normally e-mail you a reminder when the renewal time draws near.

Q: Which domain registrar would you recommend?
A: The domains we own are all registered at the biggest domain registrars, so the domain you purchase from us will be at the best registrar from day one. We recommend you to use Godaddy.com, Name.com, Dynadot.com or Namecheap.com – we have personally used these registrars for hundreds of transactions and feel confident in recommending them. Godaddy is the cheapest but has a rather confusing checkout page full of offers you don’t really need, whereas Namecheap.com, Name.com and Dynadot.com have a cleaner interface but their fees are slightly higher.

Q: What if you find my offer too low?
A: If we find your offer too low, we will reply to your e-mail with a counter-offer. We want to say yes to every offer that comes our way but we would be out of business if we didn’t make any profit. Don’t worry – our prices are very reasonable and we understand that the economic crisis has dried the juices out of everyone’s wallet – pardon the pun.
